thanks martin - thass goob to hear - yr chameleon potato = a carrot is a better "proper" joke - but the idea of adding ears & antennae to a spud is the sort of thing that makes life worthwhile for me ( sadly )
Although this is the funniest thing ever associated with the legion of superheroes, it is also the first ever funny thing associated with them, AFAIK, so I should really say that it is also as funny as, if not more so than, a week's TV commentary by you, which is really quite funny, and nice.
Oh really? Will it have Johnny Vegas and Mackenzie Crook in full prosthetic makeup? The sight of two Laurel & Hardy proportioned Sontarans would be worth the admission price alone.
- oh no - mackenzie grook as a sontaran doesn't really work, does it? - I DIDN'T THINK IT THROUGH...!
i'm not too keen on the modern look of the sontarans ( the sculpted musculature on their armour looks esp dodgy imo ) - i think the pertwee era one ( the time warrior? ) was much more menacing
The big blue clunky battle armour does look as though it was designed explicitly with action-figure toys in mind, but I can forgive this as their heads are marvellous. Their little faces allow for a lovely set of expressions to shine through the makeup and their voices are so articulate. Taking on the world with RP.
WKRR: not being carried - holding yr end up v.well
"john torode has no superhuman powers - in fact, due to the size of his head, his mobility is limited and he must rely on his bearers - he does possess great leadership capacity, however."
I found a link to your Legion of Super-Spuds by way of Newsarama's Blog... but, they didn't show the Legion of Subs. That nearly made me double over (and hit my head on my desk) laughing.
thank you - & ta for saying how you found me - i'm always curious ( - i got a goupla nice plugs in the world of comics blogs - ppl have been very kind )
